Há muitos e muitos anos atrás eu havia passado pela cidade eterna durante um mochilão pela Europa e, inexplicavelmente,  nunca  mais havia retornado. Até agora! Durante todo esse tempo Roma ficou nas minhas lembranças como um lugar de sonho, história, arte e ruínas.  Eu estava entusiasmada em rever uma das minhas cidades preferidas. A cidade onde se come a melhor pizza e o melhor tiramisú mas principalmente, a cidade das maravilhas do império Romano e de todos os tipos de arte, desde o solitário guitarrista cantando em frente ao  Panteon,  até a obra prima de Michelangelo no  teto da Capela Sistina.                                                             Devolvemos o carro alugado e fomos para o hotel, exaustas depois de várias horas dirigindo e de dias rodando pela Europa.  O hotel estava estrategicamente localizado na Piazza di Spagna, perto das lojas mais luxuosas e caras e da vida

Piazza di Spagna 1979 Piazza di Spagna 2017 Finally, we arrived at Rome! Many, many years ago I passed by the eternal city while backpacking through Europe. Inexplicably, I had never come back. Until now!  Throughout that time Rome remained in my memories like a dream place,  full of history, art, and ruins. I was excited to revisit one of my favorites cities. The city where you can eat the best tiramisu and the best pizza.  But above of all, where you can be overwhelmed by the magnificence of the Rome Empire and all kind of arts, starting with the lonely guitarist playing and singing in front of the Pantheon, culminating with the Michelangelo masterpiece in the  Sistine Chapel ceiling. The hotel was strategically located on Piazza di Spagna near the most expensive and luxury shops and the most vibrant nightlife.
