Two weeks in paradise
Some people say there is always a" break" in turmoils life, sometimes when you get some rest, some peaceful moments when everything goes by softly, with no difficulties, no problems.
I have been two weeks like these here in Canada and I take this as a gift, and a preparation as well. Preparation for something huge and overwhelming.
Well, but let's focus on these weeks. I am here in a small town in Canadian Westside, an island full of maple trees, reindeer's and squirrels, where there are no venenous sneaks, where winters are not harsh at all, where there are no big traffic jams.
My daughter lives here with her husband and my granddaughter. In an inspiring moment, two years ago, she decided to come to Canada. She applied for a scholarship, and here we are. They live on the campus of the University.
Currently, she is working in another city for some weeks, and I came to help with Manuela, my grandchild.
Therefore, while I can spend precious moments with Manuela, I can meditate and go for a jogging each morning ( summer days are sunny and really nice). I can read, write, study English. I'm free to take a nap after lunch and mostly, I can feel peace, which means: find a totally empty and silent space inside me.
I am very grateful for all this, and I hope to be able to share this feeling of peace and gratitude with others.
